As Christians worldwide celebrate the year 2022 Christmas, the Ondo State Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele, has felicitated with workers in the state just as he thanked God for the successful year 2022.
In a Christmas message personally shared on his official social media handles, Pastor Ogundele urged workers to reminisce the spirit of the season by reaching out to others in love, which is the essence of the birth of Jesus Christ.
While assuring the workers of a better deal in 2023, the Head of Service thanked Governor Akeredolu for prioritizing workers’ welfare in the scheme of things in his government.
He particularly lauded the governor for keeping his promise to offset salary arrears as well as paying due attention to retirees’ welfare, among other packages.
The Head of Service also appreciated Governor Akeredolu’s recent approval of a new duty tour allowance for all categories of workers, which would take effect in January 2023.
Ogundele, therefore, called on the workforce to reciprocate the government’s gesture with the determination to put in more effort in the service of the state in 2023 and continued support for the Akeredolu-led administration in the state.
While urging the workers to celebrate with moderation, Pastor Ogundele noted that the message of Christmas is that of redemption and hope through Christ’s birth and prayed that the season would bring renewed faith and hope for all workers.
